I was searching for a strategy war game that didnt require in-app purchases in order for the game to be fun. Plus, Ive always liked AOE2 for pc and I needed to satisfy that itch. This game was great, I got mildly addicted to it until I conquered my first map. The computer challengers are competitive but not so much I couldnt recover, in normal mode at least. Im going to up the difficulty and try to conquer another map.

On iPhone this meets my tactical strategy game fix. Amazing immersive music.

Excellent turn-based strategy! On the iPad! Finally. Enough complexity to keep it interesting, too: unit abilities, officer talents, building improvements, trade, economy, population growth and contentment, factions to please, artifacts to discover... Serious replay value. This is easily the best game Ive found for the pad that actually demands STRATEGY.

We need more strategy war games like this! I love playing this game their is so much to do! If you guys could would I be possible to maybe add onto this game like different map set up,more characters and even sea battles with turtle ships! Thanks!

Game has great replayability. Simple to learn but deeper complexity is there for the strategy veteran. Great buy. Only minor issue is auto save which needs to happen more often. Infrequently crashes.

This game is stellar, very unique on the App Store as it plays like Total War, more than the one Total War game. An enjoyable TBS (turn-based strategy) 4X game (Four exs: explore, expand, exploit, exterminate) complete with enjoyable RTS (real-time strategy) for the actual battles. Best strategy game on the App Store, hands down.

The map is big enough to allow for a complex game but small enough to work on a phone or tablet. Well conceived and beautiful. Fun to play multiple times.

This sequel was good and the wait was worth it.

The restriction on the number of soldiers in each combat is crazy... Maybe the total number of soldiers could be capped for each province,,, and so on,, but the current situation is odious and lame.... It takes out the fun which made Autumn Dynasty such an awesome play..

I really want to play this game but when I open the game it is a white screen that says load new game I can play but I can only see troops and multicoloured pixels everywhere and I just payed 6.99$ for this game plz fix or I want a refund thx

As far as the current number of 4X games on the AppStore, there really arent many to choose from. Orion and Ascendancy take the top 3, but this now ranks as my top #1 pick. Deep, rich, rewarding and very satisfying. This 4X has it all...well, almost. The only 2 things lacking are a quick save button (or auto save after each turn) as its cumbersome to keep saving in the event of a crash (and yes, the game infrequently crashes, but when it does; youll lose everything up to your last save) And secondly, the game could do with a few campaigns, or add-ons. Otherwise, great time killer. Well done!

Hey all I am seeing on my screen is white please refund my money or fix the problem

Just started, really. But so far its the same great game as before, only with a gazillion more layers of strategy added! :) One tiny complaint... You now have to hit a button in order to select multiple units. I find it irritating, but Im sure theres a good reason for it and Ill probably get used to it in no-time. Edit: not so sure anymore... Rts battles are really short and simple...

Freezes every time I try to conquer a province . Only worked for a week dont know if its a bug or update but its a rip off now
